Why should I get an extended warranty?

The benefits of full coverage

Borg & Overström are pleased to announce a new extended warranty for our products.

We are always seeking new ways to equip our distributors and we hope this additional option can bring peace of mind in an increasingly unpredictable global landscape.

What’s changed?

All of our products currently come with a standard warranty of 15 months from date-of-dispatch. The extra three months allows distributors some breathing room to receive their goods and meet the needs of their end user.

The new extended option widens the safety net further and equals the standard set by the nation’s leading electronics and appliance manufacturers.

What is now covered?

The extended warranty will cover the vast majority of Borg & Overström’s products, including most parts. Remember that you may only make a claim in relation to products that have been registered with us. Any exclusions are listed in the terms and conditions.

It is applicable if your product was correctly installed in accordance with Borg & Overström’s installation instructions in either the UK, an EU member state, Switzerland or Norway.

What are the perks?

Any customer can gain this warranty post-purchase, provided said purchase happened within the last 12 months. If you wish to upgrade from your standard package, you can. Some customers may wish to have the extended warranties applied to all machines they purchase. We can accommodate this.

It’s easy to apply. The extended warranty will be logged against the serial number of your machine and tracked by Borg & Overström. Rest easy and leave the difficulties to us.

The extended warranty is also included in resale. For distributors, this means an extra source of revenue. Please note that this may not apply to those renting out to the end user. If you have any questions, contact your account manager.

Best of all, getting an extended warranty can save a distributor from a worst-case scenario: buying a replacement dispenser in the rare event of breakdown. This can save over £1500.

How much will it cost?

Price will be weighed against the value of the machine you have purchased.

What else should I know?

A Borg & Overström machine lasts an average of seven years out in the field, so coverage is extensive. Consider this warranty an elongated period of security. Should anything go wrong, know that you can get your machine’s parts replaced and save on costs.

As always, we look forward to hearing your inquiries. Please reach out to our sales team if you want to learn more.
