Leak prevention

The importance of refreshment hygiene
The water you drink shouldn’t just taste fresh – it must be completely free of contamination. Poorly designed and maintained water dispensers can make ideal breeding conditions for bacteria. This is a significant concern, especially in environments where hygiene is essential.
At Borg & Overström, users’ health is our top priority, which is why we designed Totality®. Every component of Totality® is designed with superior hygiene in mind. Combined, they result in an exceptionally high standard of hygiene and performance.
3M Filtration®High-performing, easy to fit carbon filters.
3M carbon filters provide the highest level of water hygiene security for your dispenser over a longer period of time. All Borg & Overström water dispensers can be fitted with 3M carbon filters.
Dry Chill®
Sealed System
Sealed drinking water system with aluminium cooling block.
Dry Chill® is the most hygienic cooling process. No water is stored within the system, which greatly reduces the opportunity for bacteria to become established within the appliance. Dry Chill® also produces a larger volume of lower temperature water than other systems due to its faster recovery time.
Sterizen® Sanitisation
Independently certified anti-microbial, antipathogen sanitising procedure.
All Borg & Overström water dispensers are sterilised using Sterizen® sanitising infusion. No other brand of watercooler goes through this sterilisation process, which is why only Borg & Overström appliances are laboratory certified to be 99.999% bacteria reduced when leaving the factory.
Fynil®
Biofilm, limescale and impact resistant epoxy resin finish.
All Borg & Overström water dispensers have a double coating of Fynil®, a seamless, hard wearing non-porous finish. This scratch and impact resistant epoxy-resin resists biofilm development and limescale cohesion for increased hygiene and longevity.
Viovandt™
Eco-UV water purification
Viovandt™ is a mercury-free and chemical-free, UV water purification system for water dispensers. This maintenance-free technology uses powerful UV-LEDs to inactivate harmful microorganisms present in the water.

The superior Deep Sparkle®, unique to Borg & Overström, is achieved through high-pressure saturation. Conveniently maintained with safe, easy-to-fit CO2 canisters – available in two sizes.

Water being dispensed should be as safe as it is refreshing
Unfiltered water contains calcium, magnesium, chlorine, hormones and pharmaceutical traces. To tackle these impurities we use multi-stage water filtration, advanced UV cleansing and Fynil® surface anti-microbial protection. All of these are safe, fully certified technologies.

Polyphosphate beads reduce the effects of limescale by inhibiting the minerals without removing them.
