Borg & Overström FAQ session

Here at Borg & Overström, we love answering your questions. We’ve noticed a few that are asked regularly, and in today’s blog, we’ll be going over the answers.

Q – What is the Borg & Overström academy?

A – We had lots of requests from our distributors for support and tools, and this led us to create the Borg & Overström academy. Our academy uses training workshops and demonstrations to empower you to become leaders in your marketplace.

There are multiple workshops and sessions available, depending on your preference. We have a brand training workshop, to show you what Borg & Overström is all about, how we work, the secrets of our success, and how you can apply these to your own business. Our sales training workshop offers the opportunity to be trained by sales veterans, who discuss how to be proactive in your sales pipeline, how to build an effective pipeline tracking system and how to deliver a strong presentation.

Our other two workshops are of a more practical nature. We offer a product training workshop, in which we allow you to test our products, and discover the internal working of each dispenser. Finally, we offer a service training workshop, in which we cover the detailed expertise you and your team needs to install, maintain, and service our Borg & Overström dispensers.

You can find out more about our academy here.

Q – How do I enrol on your academy?

A – Drop us an email about your requirements to [email protected], alternatively, fill out the contact form on the academy section of our website here.

Q – Which Borg & Overström product is right for me?

A – All our products are versatile, with a variety of dispense options. From our classic b2, to our sophisticated b5, we will have the perfect water solution for you. To discover which product is best suited to your environment, try out the specifier on our website here. If you have any questions about any features or options, do get in contact with us.

Q – Is there anywhere I can look at your products?

A – We’ll be honest, we love showing off our dispensers, and we’d love to show them to you in person. We have product showrooms in our academy venue near Manchester, and in our head office near Norwich. Our address for both of these venues can be found here, just drop us an email at [email protected] and we’ll roll out the red carpet.

Q – What is the direct chill system, and how does it work?

A – We are very proud of our direct chill system, it utilises advanced cooling technology to ensure your water is both hygienic and fresh. Many water systems chill water gradually over time, and store it in a container. The direct chill system takes water directly from the supply source, and chills it in a coil on its way to the dispenser faucet. This ensures your water is fresh, and reduces the impurity levels in your water.

If you’d like to find out more about our direct chill system (and we love to brag about it), we’ve written an entire blog post about it here.

Q – What’s the difference between a POU and a bottle top cooler?

A – To cut through the jargon, POU stands for ‘Point Of Use’, and is also known as a ‘Plumbed in’ watercooler. These are plumbed into the main water line, and provide fresh water direct from the source. A bottle top cooler consists of a large bottle full of water, that dispenses out through the machine.

Q – I don’t have the facilities for a POU cooler, can I still have a Borg & Overström cooler?

A – Firstly, do get in touch with us and we’ll discuss whether a POU product could be fitted into your environment. We do offer a bottle conversion kit for our b2 water dispenser, you can view this product here.

Q – I have a question you haven’t answered in this blog, how do I get in touch?

A – We love to chat, and we’d love to hear from you. You can get in touch with us via email, phone, or even letter! Our details can be found here. Alternatively, we can be reached via Facebook, Twitter, or LinkedIn
