Connect vending graduates attend academy training
It’s been around 18 months since we last held in-house training at our Academy in Synergy House. It’s great to be back, and we’re delighted that our first face-to-face training was with seven graduates from Connect Vending.
This is the second year Connect Vending has run its sales graduate scheme. The course equips graduates with the skills needed to succeed in a sales role in the food and beverage industry.
Connect Vending is a forward-thinking business based in Oxfordshire, UK. Founded in 1996 as a vending business by Stuart Coutts, Connect Vending now provides a bespoke food and beverage service.
“We help businesses to find the right solution for their workplace, whether it be coffee machines, water dispensers, snack machines, micro markets or a selection from across the range,” says Sam Roberts, Connect Vending Digital Marketing Manager.
Service quality is at the core of what Connect Vending offers. “We take a consultative approach with a focus on achieving the best outcome for the businesses we work with,” Sam explains. “It’s important to us that we provide customers with the best quality service, both operationally and from a maintenance and engineering perspective”
As part of the Sales Graduate scheme, Connect Vending graduates visit suppliers, including Borg & Overström. This helps provide a broad view of the market and solutions available, with the aim of providing candidates with a solid consultative sales foundation.
Connect Vending has ambitious growth plans for the next three to five years, and their willingness to work with the best providers in their respective markets is key to that growth. Sam adds, “we maintain excellent relationships with suppliers, such as Borg & Overström, to ensure we have access to the highest-quality solutions for our clients”.
