How can distributors support Made Blue; clean water for everyone.

What is Made Blue? 

Made Blue is an entrepreneurial charity that is passionate about providing access to clean water for those in need. Currently one in ten people spend hours each day fetching water, that’s 771,000,000. Made Blue work in partnership with water ambassadors to compensate the water consumption of their product, service or organisation or to mirror the water saved with the same number of litres of clean drinking water in developing countries via Made Blue.

With the donations received, Made Blue manage water projects in developing countries, by working with the local community to engineer clean water pumps and water provision, and with the aim of locals taking ownership of approaches to providing clean water and hygiene for all. 

Why is access to clean water so important?

Clean water is fundamental to life, both for hydration which allows us to be productive and function well, but also for health and hygiene. Contaminated water and poor sanitation can cause disease and pose serious health risks, which is why the Made Blue initiative is so important and such a great programme to become involved with. 

How are Borg & Overström involved?

At Borg & Overström we partner with our distributors and for each water dispenser ordered, we will donate £2.75/€3.30 to Made Blue and our distributors do the same. This donation contributes towards ensuring access to clean water through a multitude of projects Made Blue are involved with in the developing countries. 

How can distributors get involved?

As a distributor, you can sign up to Made Blue with us and match our £2.75/€3.30 donation, bringing it to a total of £5.50/€6.65 per water dispenser ordered. It’s the equivalent of each glass of water poured from one of our machines being matched with a clean glass of water for someone in need. 

How can your customers benefit?

By drinking from a Borg & Overström drinking water dispenser, your customers never need drink alone. They can be assured that they are contributing to someone in need having access to fresh and clean water.
