Borg & Overström: “What’s in the T2 box?”
We’ve covered our new T2 tap and its many innovative features extensively here at Borg & Overström. If you have an order on the way, or are curious about what you’d be getting fresh out of the box, here’s a quick summary.
You will receive your T2 system across three to four separate boxes.
The T2 tap box
We begin with main tap system box. In here you’ll find the user guide, placed atop the main components, the drip tray and the tap’s main faucet.
The undercounter box
The undercounter processing unit comes in its own separate box. The main feature here is the high-powered ProCore™ or ProCore+™ depending on the model. This comes with a (removable) protective film on the front panel, alongside the unit’s power cords. If your machine has a sparkling water option, you will also find the Deep Sparkle® installation kit here, which includes the CO2 regulator.
Up next, we have the ventilation kit; which includes an easy-fit ventilation base, ventilation chimney and cutting template. You can access our library of how-to videos for instructions on using this template.
The install kit box
The third and final box is the installation kit. Once again, this will vary depending on the model of T2 you order. However, know that it will include everything you need to connect your dispenser with the mains water supply. These essential items are:
- 1 x 3M filter cartridge
- 1 x 3M filter head
- 1 x Waterblock leak-prevention device
- 2 x metres of John Guest blue tubing
- The essential fittings for securing the needed attachment sites
Borg and Overström have made the decision to make our packaging more sustainable. The black boxes you see in the video above will soon be replaced with more eco-friendly materials and less printing.
